The report, filed under police registration number LP/B/188/IV/2025/SPKT/Bareskrim Mabes Polri, was submitted on Wednesday, April 23.
“Today’s report has been received properly, and the legal elements have been met,” said Rayen outside the police headquarters.

“I believe Ahmad Dhani has seen the backlash on social media. If he had humility and goodwill, he should have reached out to me,” Rayen said. “But it seems like it’s too late now—we’ve already filed the report.”
Rayen emphasized that this move was not about retaliation, but a response to Ahmad Dhani’s own past remarks. “As he once said: if there’s wrongdoing, then go ahead and report it. That’s what we’re doing,” he added.
‘No One is Above the Law’
Rayen, who is also a public figure and legislator, pointedly criticized the notion that public officials are untouchable. He insisted that the acceptance of his police report is proof that even lawmakers must be held accountable.
“There’s a misconception that MPs hold untouchable power,” Rayen said. “In reality, the higher a person’s position, the more they should restrain themselves and uphold the dignity of the institution they represent.”
Ahmad Dhani to be Reported to the House Ethics Council (MKD)
Rayen’s legal team is taking the matter a step further by preparing to report Ahmad Dhani to the House Ethics Council (Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan, MKD). According to attorney Jajang, the report will be submitted on Thursday, April 24 at 10:00 AM WIB.
“We believe this is not just a criminal issue—it’s also a matter of public ethics,” Jajang said. “As a public official, he should have maintained proper behavior and upheld the code of conduct.”
